About This Blog

This blog, as it says, is all about Helping Small Bloggers Become Big Bloggers. So, if you’re a small blogger, and would like to become a BIG blogger, the place to be is here! Where and How it all started.

I’ve been into computers since I was 4 or 5. I was a total computer fanatic. Seeing my interest in them so much, one of my relatives advised me to build a website. I could not help but agree! After all, it seemed a great idea.

So, using FrontPage, I made my very first website, hosted on a free host. It was a complete mess, with no consistent styling. Don’t ask me to continue!

Well after a while I ditched that site and started on another one(it was about making a website using FrontPage). Halfway through, I got disillusioned and left the project…

Then, after a respite of almost a year, a light bulb switched on in my brain. I thought ‘why not build a website teaching others how to build one?‘.The idea was similar to the one I had worked on previously, but this time, I decided to learn HTML and code the whole of the site with it. The tutorials were on HTML too.

After 2 long months of hardwork, it was finally completed, with its own domain name and hosting!. It was called ‘EasyHTMLTutorials‘. I even earned some money with it!

Then I decided to create a blog on the same site to complement the main site. It went well at first, but then I forgot my main site and focused on the blog.

Then, after a loong time came along this venture…

What’s in the Name?

PuttingBlogsFirst - might seem strange to some people, but to me, it’s the most perfect name I could find for this blog.

In fact, my discovering this name was by accident… Read on to find out!

One day, I was watching BBC news on television, and their logo and tag-line appeared. The tag-line was ‘Putting News First‘ . Some thing clicked in my head at that instant. I thought “why not change that to ‘Putting blogs first’ ??”. And so this blog got its name.

You can do a LOT on this blog. Firstly, if you’re a new blogger, you might want to start your blogging career with the blogging guide. There you’ll find an extensive article on choosing your blog’s niche, which is very important, and great web hosts for your blog.

After you’re done with that, I suggest you check out the Archives of this blog; you’ll find interesting and useful things to read.
